Our main video wall featured the new Orion MPDP OPM4260 configured in an enormous 16 Wide X 4 High curved, "virtually seamless" video wall, at just over 48' W X 7' H . The Orion wall was the largest and most stunning video wall technology displayed on the show floor of InfoComm 2011. We also showed a new 60" MPDP in a 3X3 configuration that measured 180" diagonal. We are in the process of further developing the solution and anticipate the launch for delivery in Q1 of 2012. Salitek currently has the 120" version consisting of a 2X2 of the 60" MPDP with a decorative frame available by special order. Salitek also demonstrated a variety of LCD based solutions inclusive of a 70” All-In-One Display with an integrated 23” e-Podium Solution, a 43” Panoramic DID, a 55” MLCD (5.5mm Super Narrow), a 21.6” Outdoor and a 46” Indoor Upright Kiosk.
Salitek focused our Orion exhibition on the newly launched Orion Model OPM4260 MPDP showing stunning customized content with pixel mapping of over 26 Million Pixels using the built-in processing of the panels and a show control system. OPM4260 has less than a 1 mm seam (1.9 mm seam gap), 1,700 nits, and 30,000:1 contrast ratio. The Orion OPM4260 was demonstrated in 1X3 columns, the OPM4260R was demonstrated in a 2X2 configuration featuring a reinforced aluminum edge for the staging market with a 3.5 mm mullion, and an optional PLC (Power Line Communication) was shown on an OPM4260 2X2 configuration. The 60" MPDP prototype samples were shown and received great response from the show attendees.
